Nor do we find appropriate the Examiner’s reliance on the use of “comprising” in claims 1, 14, and 21 to interpret these claims so broadly they encompass holes in a rigid portion of the pouch. In re Samiran, 86 F.2d 756, 758 (CCPA 1936) (“the meaning of the word ‘comprising’ cannot be construed to extend so far as to eliminate the expressed limitations which the appellant has placed within his claims”).
