Appellants argue that the Examiner’s reliance upon Levy in an anticipation rejection is improper. Appeal Br. 6. However, under certain circumstances, an anticipation rejection over multiple references has been held to be proper, for example, to show that a characteristic not disclosed in the reference is inherent, as in the instant case. See Telemac Cellular Corp. v. Topp Telecom, Inc., 247 F.3d 1316, 1328, 58 USPQ2d 1545, 1553 (Fed.
