Dr. Shahidi cited to disclosure in the patent regarding pharmaceutical and medical uses, but as already stated, the claims are not limited to such uses of the claimed composition. It is improper to import limitations from the specification into the claims. “For example, a particular embodiment appearing in the written description may not be read into a claim when the claim language is broader than the embodiment.” Superguide Corp. v.
