Still further, dependent claim 26 does not further limit parent claim 17 because claim 26 fails to specify a further limitation of the subject matter of claim 17. A computer program product is completely outside the scope of multi-core processor. As such, claim 26 does not appear to meet the requirements set forth in 35 U.S.C. § 112, fourth paragraph ("a claim in dependent form shall contain a reference to a claim previously set forth and then specify a further limitation of the subject matter claimed").
